PEVISA
is Finnish and short for "perinnöllisten vikojen
ja sairauksien vastustamisohjelma", which translates
as "program against hereditary defects and diseases".
The PEVISA regulations vary from breed to breed and not
all breeds existing in Finland have a PEVISA-program.
The PEVISA-program is valid from 1.1.2012 - 31.12.2016.
Parents of the puppies must have a hip classification and
knee examination result before the maiting takes place.
Also an valid eye examination is required, which is valid
for 24 months. PEVISA requirements apply to all variants
of the breed. |
